ANSWERS

  1. How do I register my Fenix flashlight/headlamp?
New flashlight purchased should be registered on the manufacturer's website. When you register your first Fenix product, you are creating an account.  If you ever need to register subsequent Fenix products, you will click on the "Login" button next to the "Register."  Once you log in, you can register additional products.

  2. What is the Fenix warranty?
Below is the manufacturer's warranty.  The warranty depends on the Fenix product purchased.

  3. What does the Fenix warranty cover?
The standard warranty covers manufacturing defects.  Accessories (such as pocket clips, lanyards, and holsters) are not covered by the warranty.  Normal wear is not covered by the warranty.  Battery leakage is not covered under the warranty.  You are purchasing a high-quality flashlight so it is recommended that you select high-quality batteries to specifications for your torch.  All alkaline batteries will leak over a period of time.  If you aren't going to use your flashlight for 3 weeks or more, it is recommended you remove alkaline batteries to minimize the chances of battery leakage.

  4. How do I maintain my light?
Please review this page for tips on flashlight maintenance.
Before returning your light for maintenance, please see if performing some maintenance will correct the issue. Remember, maintaining your light according to these suggestions will provide a longer product life. (Even if you don't see your model, these maintenance tips apply to most lights.)

If it is not in resale condition, (for example, if you don't return all packaging, parts, accessories, or packaging is torn) there will be a 25% restocking fee.   Your refund will be LESS the purchase price less the initial shipping cost.  No returns will be accepted without prior authorization.  Please call 800-616-1326 Ext. 2 and request a return authorization number.  CLICK HERE to fill out the Warranty and Return Form.

  7. My Fenix flashlight is over 30 days old and it quit working.  I am still covered under the warranty. What do I do?

  8. My Fenix flashlight is out of warranty.  What do I do?

  9. How long does it take to get warranty or service work done?
Fenix-Store has a full-service Warranty and Repair Department.  For the products which can be repaired in our Oklahoma Repair Center, repairs are normally done within 2 weeks of receipt as long as parts are available.  There are times when we are out of stock on certain parts.  You will be notified of the progress.  EXCEPTION:  Because headlamps are waterproof, repair times are longer because they have to be returned to the manufacturer for repairs.   When possible, you will be offered a "loaner" headlamp while your light is being repaired.

  10. Am I charged for warranty work?
For flashlights still under warranty, the customer is responsible for shipping charges to Fenix-Store in Oklahoma.  You will not be charged parts or labor for warrantied flashlights.  Fenix Store pays the return postage to the customer.

For flashlights out of warranty, the customer pays shipping to Fenix Store.  You will be charged for any parts needed to make the repairs.  The price of the part includes return shipping to you.
